Thanks, gents
Ski-Just about 550 miles, close enough for neighbors as western distances go. I did pony wall the loading bench, more for support than anything as full length resizing produces a lot of torque.
Andy-Perhaps I should have bought a lottery ticket...The shotgun is an FN 12 bore which translates to a Winchester 1300 Defender that has FN stamped on the receiver. A good deal if one can still find them.
Tojo-Appreciate the good vibes
Mack-Now I've got to get busy and fill it up
Nemo, Dan-Thanks for lookin in
Bill-Don't really have much of a stash but the varmints better watch out anyway
Gary-Still got all my fingers, too!
Sven, you've made yourself a great spot
I am appalled at the amount of junk I've accumulated, a fact carried home when I began opening boxes packed up last spring. I feel a purge coming on...
Regards, Mark

Reserve - is that tac shotgun for randomly placing Mig pigments on your armor? And in the pic below, what have you got in the long display case with the seven armor builds? Intrigued. T-55s? 62s? Something totally different?

Hey Dupes The shotgun? Well, a guy never knows when the Zombies are going to show up for a snack . The long case is the Soviet Armor build I did last year, the object of which was a side by side comparison of all the post war T series MBT's. You'll find it in gruesome detail in, I think, the modern armor thread titled Soviet Armor if you'd like a closer look. Regards, Mark

Good question Hook, I was curious about that too Dicky. That looks like one heck of a fine kit Bro, please expound, in your best English, please, Sire Brotha. You gots lots of kits that look perty dang spiffy from my angle Bro.
Just wondering I were when them there kits came to market, bet them is hard to find. Are these kits still available Dicky? Sorry Man, I'm short on rigs, but not so much on figs, I've lost too many good kits lately.
Please don't forget, I gotta get em past the "Gate Guard", (Me Wife). Ah, she's a keeper after 24yrs, maybe a bribe'l do, I recon.
Cheers, Ski.
P.S. In all seriousness Bro, what are they and are they still available? They look very usable for future dios!

Young Mr F may have retired to slumberland by now,so if I may,I'll try and answer that question...The official title is HEMTT TFFT,which is basically a 'scratch built TFFT superstructure,on a 'standard' HEMTT chassis set up.The TFFT bit,if I remember right stands for Tactical Fire Fighting Truck. If you google Hemtt tfft, there are a few images knocking about showing the real McCoy Hope this helps, mate?

Steve, some of the builds on those shelves are scratch, some cutaways, some conversions, very little of those builds on the shelf, haven't been 'Nemo'ed to some extent.I don't have time now,to point you in the right direction, but a LOT of them have been done here on MSCF,the TFFT,being one of the exceptions, which I believe he blogged over on MM

As I said before, I bought a new table from ikea. It's their galant series desk. It feels really solid and it has a 10 year warranty. Price was acceptable, about 250€. And you can buy more extensions if needed. General setup. Building area Photography area As you know, hobby rooms aren't ever finished and my update plan is following: -getting a roomy drawer for tools under the table. -some kind of airbrush holder (that's easy) -Changing that wallpaper It's from previous owner of my house... (not so easy) -new chair

I would figure somebody snuck in while I wasn't looking and stole all my goodies. So my wife was watching music ( I know, but it can happen) while I was working on a model, and she said if we stay in the house instead of selling, I could have the 3rd bedroom for a model room. I promptly stabbed myself with a new #11 blade. Hooray! So now I'm kind of hoping we decide not to sell.... then I can get out of the closet I work in now and be in a real room

I have what amounts to an entire mancave set up in my third car garage. Trouble is it's uninsulated and way too hot in the summer. I currently build in the house sitting at the breakfast bar.
My wife told her sister she'd rather I sit at the breakfast bar building a model, than sit in a bar hitting on one.
Smart woman.

Schweet! I can't hide: By bench. It's at one end of a 4'x14' closet in the family room, which used to be the carport.

Andy, the Dora is 1/72, halfway through decals at the moment! Lovely kit to build. The ship hull you see is the Snowberry, again 72nd, but she will be HMS Anemone, I have all of the great little ships etch and A.M which replaces about 90% of the plastic.

Holy cow!!! 1/72 ship??? I'd love to see your WIP on it here one day... same goes for Dora. One day I want to build it but only after boys move out of the house so their bedrooms can turn into my exhibition rooms. LOL
