Yep camo is coming up.
I painted the side screens on the L/70(A) yesterday, now that's a very touchy job not clogging up the screen with the primer and then the paint.
I used Gator clips to hold them and then stuck those in the same foam box I used for the wheels. This allowed the spray to pass through the screens and worked like a charm.
Between coats I looked for camo schemes on the net and will look for more today and make a decision. I need three different ones to keep from being repetitive and boring.
Hang in there camo freaks,i'll come up with something. ;D

I can only imagine how they would all look on a single dio base Tony...not to mention the display space needed for it! Look forward to the camo application.

Thanks all I had plans for starting the camo before now but my paint supplies were diverted to Springfield Mass instead of Missouri by the USPS. They tell me the package is on the turn around and headed back this way. The wife works for a spoting goods retailer in the mail order dept which receives about 22,000 orders a day, she said you wouldn't believe the number of USPS screw-ups they deal with everyday. Sure...likely excuse Tony! You can admit a dose of spring fever delay if that's really the case you know...no one will hold it against you! Seriously though the USPS system does have its flaws but when you think about the sheer volume of stuff they process daily, it's not that surprising as a %...unless of course, you're on the wrong side of the statistics as you are in this case.  |

 This one is the L/70(V) and I thought the paint scheme used in the Ardennes called Light and Shadows would be interesting and besides AKI has the disc stencil kit and this is a good chance to try it. If it works out well i'll give Panzerace the credit, if not his goose is cooked. Back to the grind ;D Tony lee |
