Thanks guy's! I put coat of anthercite grey on the neu, not sure I like it. Too dark compared to photo's I've looked at. Going to hit the tracks today and do so weathering on PZ's Will try and get some pics on later. Oh and thanks to Chriss67 after looking at his half track I'm itching to finish one of mine! ;D Dicky the M1 is a Tamiya kit, it went together in 2 hours! You gotta to love shake and bake! paulh, Lol! It's not as bad as it seems! ;D

Making good progress! I agree with your assessment on the signalbraun...too light of a color for the early wary two-tone scheme. That brown was more of a chocolate brown so your tank brown will probably be more in line with the panzer gray in terms of tonal contrast.

Coming along nicely! As for weathering tips, the desert is a dusty place so use of light tone colors to replicate that layer of fine dust and sun-bleached fading would be the way I'd recommend heading in.
