Ok A quick up date guys! These are for you Dicky! ;D The M1 have a coat of LC Desert storm sand. From here I think I'm going to just do a lite dusting on it as it would have looked a couple of day after crossing the border.

The M60 has a coat of MM olive drab and the tracks are AFV workable. The tracks went together nicely, only a three piece affair per link. The plan is to camo it but my flat brown is well... flat. So I think I'll put it off to side until I can get to my LHS.

The M60 is also looking pretty good!!.....The slight list to port,is just like me on a Saturday nite!!((LOL)).
I can't be certain,but I seem to remember seeing M60's in Germany in the late 70's with the tri tone cam!Or am I mistaken?

Thanks Chris! yes sir the 60's had a tri color on them. I do plan in doing it but I have to get some flat brown, mine has a case of the hard as a rock in a bottle!

Hey everyone! Got some finished tanks here! First up is the Nue. I did some dry brushing with MM panzer gray along all the edge's and bolts. the mud is a home made mix of elmers glue, dirt and Mig pigments. After a flat coat I did a mist of Poly s dirt. Here's the Nue!





Next is the M1. To me Modern armor can be a clean build only because until most recently the only action they saw where war games. So the M1 is a clean build. The periscopes are done with foil tissue paper. Boring, I know. Here's the M1!

And Finally my lady in waiting, Wittmann's last Tiger. I've had this one sitting around for about 6months waiting for the crew to be done before I did anything else. Well I felt it was time to put this one on the display shelf so mud was put on the tracks and a lite mist of dirt was applied. I will get the M60 done as soon as I can get my hands on some brown paint, my LHS still doesn't have any!? Ok here she is!

Nice builds!!!! What did you use for the Tiger's Zimm if it didn't come molded? That Nue kit is on top of my wish list...

Thanks Mike! I think what you are asking about is a mud that use. It is a mix of elmer's glue, dirt ( from the back yard) mig pigments and kids white washable paint. the paint is added so you can get the shade of mud you like. As for the track contour I use toilet paper stuffed in between tracks and the hull. Will try Jedi mind trick ( You must build, you must build!) ;D

Thanks Andy! the zimmerit on the tiger is molded in, it Wittmanns last tiger. For the next Tiger, I plan on using Milli put and tamiya's zimmerit applicator. If you can find the Nue for under $45 run with it, after building it, it's not worth the $70 price tag dragon put on it. Don't get me wrong it's a great kit, just that you would expect more goodies in the box than you get!

Hiya Freakstah! Lovely builds in here mate, they got some nice paintwork. As you maybe could expect my fav is the Tiger I , looks awesome.

If you're having a go on homemade zimm on a Tiggy, well, I'm sitting frontrow ;D. Would be great! (Don't forget: the zimmerit pattern on the turret was broader on the turret than on the hull - sorry 'bout that, been reading for too long about Tigers now ;D ;D ;D)

Thanks woutmeister! I think I'm going to tackle some shelf queens next! Got at least 9 armor thingies and 14 wingy thingies to finish and one ship. Not sure where to begin thinking mybe my DAK Tiger and or a Marder? As far as a zim tigger that could happen also!
