From what I read somewhere the only one that was build ready for combat saw limited action, where and when it didn't say.
The Grasshopper on the other hand did see combat, three or four of them were sent to the Eastern front.

Thanks for that Tony...I remembered that the Grasshopper did undergo combat trials but wasn't sure about the GW.

Thanks jackwagon, you're are a gentleman.
Bense it's a $82.50 SRP but Sprue Bros. sells them for $49.50. For the caliber of the kit that's a great price.

Very neat work Tony, and the more impressive if you are doin' it under these conditions.
I lost a brother six years ago in traffic, so I know all about the feeling (well, glad yours still there). I hope he gets better mate, not praying for him since I'm not religious, but I think about you folks. I'll ask mine to look after you fellas, he might listen, who knows ^^
Cheers

First wash applied. I started out lighter at the top and since the chassis is a recycle, applied a much darker wash at the bottom. How about that, you can see the fuel tank cap down there at the bottom. That's it for today folks Tony

Outstanding build... dig the shell rack and paint on the shells. Nice move applying heavier wash on the lower hull as it looks pretty good and obvious.

Thanks everyone I started the pin wash today which really helped to bring out the details. With all that gear hanging off the rear it makes it look as large as a Jagdtiger. It's FRIDAY folks ;D Tony
