I'm thinking some green chipping will bring this to life. Also a good dusting on the upper flat areas will tone things down a bit as well. Nice work so far mate

Paul - jackwagon is right it would normally not chip that much if anything at all because it's more like a sort of chalk thats used for the white, so it sort of get wiped off with time and get a worn look like when you draw with chalk on the pavement.

Thanks for the info Jack -very useful.
I've just taken delivery of the AK NATO weathering set so I'm going to try a little something particularly with the filter and rain marks. I'm thinking (hoping) the slab-sided nature of the turret in particular will lend itself to some effective results. P

Time for a breif update; not much bench time of late- grabbing 20 mins here & there Anyway, I 've applied a sinlge cot of the AK filter for NATO cam- for those who din't know- its quite heavy - more like a wash tbh,- but that's an observation not a complaint. This is what she looks like after that single filter; Nice n' dirty, like you'd expected during the spring thaw. As always , ACW. P

Thank you very much Chris.
Need to figure out what to do with the horizontal surfaces- probably some pigments, and then re-work the weathering on the running-gear & tracks.

Thank you very much Jack. For anyone who was following this one- Sorry for the lack of progress. Life and other stuff getting in the way somewhat as well as a block /partial loss of mojo on how to finish this off. Over most of that now- but now I can't find the box with the bits-n-pieces needed to finish her off Its not like I don't a have a few of these things to raid for spares- but I'd rather not if possible- just in case I get around to building them P

Wey Hey- I found me bits ;D I thought of just poping my paper-panzer alongside for a few comparison shots I have to admit its a bit taller than I thought - but then again it was eye-balled not callipered so a reasonable result all told. Mojo is returnin' so hopefully coming close to a finish! Sorry by the way for the poor pics- I've just took delivery of a new piccy tent some I hopin' things will improve.... P

Well finally catching up with this one- shamed into action by the Squismeisters double build and our MAFVA branch annual openday. Wasn't working on its own so I put together a quick base: 30x30 x9 mm MDF, some polystyrene for height in a corner and a papermashe type of thing made up with brown acrylic craft paint. Once dry , Tamiya snow added and a gentle sprinkling of custom senics snow and calling it a day; ACW

[shadow=red,left,300][/shadow]Cheers jackwagon , next up to finsh is the Trumpy Osorio. Built most of during a very wet week in a caravan over the "summer" we've (not) had. All sub-assemblies are complete and already hit with a basecoat of Krylon Olive Green ( left over from my Airsofting days). I'm planning a Saudi trials version- with chipped sand topcoat over the green, and I've also bought some Promodeller dark brown wash to try out. Then its pick away gently at the Tamiya A6 and the paper panzer thingy. Well thats the plan but I'm sure things will change. P
