Well here's my share of my Tiggy, will be doing 212 Tiger ( I hope this would not turn into a what-if will be a scene in Villers - Bocage if time permits but will finish the tank first... I did a random assembly, mostly dry fitting... assembled small parts, did done a bits and pieces... below applied Zim via Miliput, well its not uniform no straight line did it manually via Flat screw, will wait it to dry a day or 2, to sand down a bit, still prepping the lower hull just in case I've miss out some details and need to be covered. Thanks for looking guys!!!

Now I have to keep up the pace... Its official our IPMS 10th anniv would be held on a tourist destination not the usual place, by the Last Quarter of the year. now I have to choose of SBS or buy the Academy Tank with Interior... No new kits for now most of the pending builds should be finish by 3rd quarter.

Its like highland vs lowlands, it would be more than 300 km travel, the kits should be pack securely by september end this would be a big one, an international judge would be the head judge of the decade event. Need to make adjustment and go back to the planning board.

Hi Guys, Not much as an update but more like a question. Since I'm doing an open hatch tiggy... with minimal damage (not the one in the reference with a big hole in the driver side) 1. should I cover it with a putty the injection marks inside the turret? 2. Does the ammo crates fits on both side or Replace it with Ammo Rack? and place the crates elsewhere? not much to weather on the radiator, since it will be well covered exhaust "the part is more like a wood covering" Thank you for comments, much appreciated!!!

ER, Any progress is good progress!!! Personally on the injector marks on the turret inside roof.....I would not bother if the do not show at all!!! You would have to take a penlight and dental morror to see it...maybe!!! If someone goes through that trouble... As for the cover for the radiator cover....Is it the air inlet cover? This could be wood... See here - tiger1.info/EN/RadiatorSplinterGuard.html Thinking Erik posted this on your SMA post!!

Build Blog: Transmission done but it need some cutting about 2 to 3mm on both side to make it fit on the DML. aside from that lots of gaps and the mold is not actually centered, putty need to correct some problems. On the Picture below, a lot of cutting is need some may need to be cut into pieces to make it work rather than cutting on both side to make it fit... More to come; Just installed the side fenders on both Tigers. most parts have been assembled. some of the optional parts in the DML kit was bash into the Academy to make more detailed. Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks T, this one is also a first to me to incorporate a kit from another kit. as now need to borrow a Rotary tool from a friend to speed things up, manual cutting would be time consuming

Thanks Chris!!! well one thing I failed to notice the academy kit is much wider than the DML kit 9cm vs 8 1/2 cm, a lot of modification is needed.

Finally finish the Zim for the DML Tiger, not much of a battle damage as of now. most PE had been installed... It should be a base coat for now, but I'm bashing it with Academy Interior and now Figuring out how to fit it... some parts or most need to be cut and sand due to 2mm to 4mm width difference. Warning due to prolong scribing for the Zim, my right arm is now on bandage with mint oil (use the Zim tool Applicator) ;D
