Hi guys, This has just been released - according to Dragon the release date was October 2012 so probably a bit early yet. This StuG has Christmas Present written all over it [ ] www.dragon-models.com/d-m-item.asp?pid=DRA6633Has anyone seen one yet? I'm struggling to find one. Cheers fellas, Ben [t$t]

It will probably take a month to get into circulation provided dragon released it on time.

Looks to be a nice kit with the Zim already on it. I have yet to build a Dragon Stug and have the F8 on the shelf.

No bbd - ME LIKES! Definately one for the stash. I've built 4 Stugs - Dragons old Imperial 'Wittman' III A, Tamiyas EXCELLENT III B, Cyber Hobbys III F/G oddball thing (all i/35) and Tamiya's 1/48 StuG III G Late - exactly the same as this one. That was a good build - I had to add my own Zim which ain't easy on a 1/48 plus it was my first (and only) attempt! She turned out ok but the Zim - a nightmare! I used an RB barrel:Tamiya III B - a build that every German WWII modeller should have:My First Dragon build ever (Imperial Series 'Wittman' III A'- this is an old build so excuse it's novice appearance! The Cyber-Hobby StuG III Hybrid E/F Hybrid thingy!I think this new release would make a welcome addition to the 'StuG Shelf'! The StuH 10.5cm also appeals but looks a little dated? Ben ;D

Nice collection Ben. The Tammy StuH is basically their StuG, just minor diffs like the barrel. Think it dates to the mid or late 90's...

Hi Rob, It was the Dragon StuH that I was looking at - I've seen sprue shots and it's easy to see that's is an older kit. Not necessarialy a bad thing at-all but now this it out, Schurzen and all, I'm buying it on release. It's Bithday Day tomorrow so I'll have this Zimmed Elefant I'm getting to show you! Ben

Ah, I didn't know Dragon did the StuH. I have yet to build any Stug, III or IV. I have the Dragon F8 in the stash and am tempted to build....or wreck that one.

oooo that IS nice. Love the gun and mounts on these Dragon kits. Just wish they would give at least a partial driver area and tranny.
