Capt. Still working with the CR2 but with no Major updates will post soon. I'll just wrap this one up in the mean time.
G, thanks for the kind comment!!! still need to work on the gaps and other stuff.
Bill, thanks again for dropping by, and answering snidervolley Query.
T, if this kit was mine it will definitely stuck in a tree... but the owner wants OOB as possible.
Chris, did some test paint and reference... Spud right it should be Dessert Yellow. Thanks for checking
Cheers!!! ER

Thanks Wouts!!! 1st base coat "German Grey" this is for the chipping stage, which the Boss posted on the Techniques Tread... Better get a Hair Spray Bottle. After this 2nd base coat of Desert Yellow and preshading and color mod before scrubbing paints. Just cross my fingers that this would work. Cheers!! ER

Which paints are you using? If you use Vallejo or Tamiya paints you could start chipping after more or less half an hour. Goes quite fast ^^

will be using Tamiya paints and alcohol as a medium... Since I often use Gunze Lacquer in base and top coat.

Lol Guys!!! Thanks for hanging around!!! Here's the paint and chippin and I did in one night actually already early morning!!! I think I over done it lesson learn give it more time to dry the clear coat, did use a Tamiya clear (rattle can) to seal the German grey, and re-coat it after the chipping some parts had been frosted another mistake should dry it before resealing it Comments are welcome!!! Good or Bad as long we can improve!!! Cheers!!!

The HT looks good mate chipping is a tricky thing to master the only way i can help is i chip only the areas that would get abused and do small amounts at a time its easy to get carried away i always seal my basecoat 1st then apply the HS and top coat then start chipping i started a thread somewhere on here for chipping that could help you if you have not seen it already.

it looks good ER, i would sudjest redoing the bonnet/engine hood because i dont think it would be that worn on the top,
but other than that i think its spot on,

Thanks for the comments Dan... I'll take a note of it.
Spud, I'll try to coat it with a thin mist of buff to lessen the chipping, re-painting the hood might end up in a disaster. Thanks for checking!!!

Spud, I'm just caught in a bad situation... that what messing my focus. Thanks for the comment, T much appreciated... I just hate the upper management m*rons, I didn't know appealing is a major crime, and I have an incoming memo of in-subordination with a pending suspension.

don't think you've overdone it, love heavy chippin' ;D
but if you're not happy you can always restart by respraying the basecoat here and there and again the HS stuff...but again, I don't think it looks bad!
Cheers

Sorry to hear about the stresses ER...maybe you took out your frustrations on the kit as you were chipping without realizing it? Looks like it is still a solid base to work from but do agree that some areas are probably too heavy for an in-service vehicle. Come back to it with fresh eyes though before you decide to do anything further...bad things always happen whenever I try to "force" a model to progresss when I'm not properly motivated/focused.

Spud, I will gladly do if I could Wouts thanks for checking... but I re-done the hood. Bill, probably yes due to situation and pressure that I'm in... Thanks, Boss your advice helps... just have to keep my head clear before I could make something I'll later regret... Hood Re-paint and Tarp Special Thanks for JohnT for the SBS tarp tread.
