Mike Tracks are like knitting...just keep putting one foot ahead of the other and eventually you're done! Spud now you understand why I prefer workables...if I'm going to put that kind of time into tracks I at least want some advantages to come out of it! Andy I can think of MUCH better ways to get a vacation extention! Carl That's very true...the breather mask is necessary for painting and there was no way I was going to contend with it while battling cold symptoms and congestion. I think I've about got this one licked though...just hope it doesn't linger around the edges for the rest of the week.

Luigi, it's inevitable on every build...sooner or later it has to be done! Bob, yep...I'm not sure if it holds the record for the most wheels but it's pretty close! Dicky thanks and HNY to you as well!

No updates will sneak in this week Andy unfortunately. Have a lot to do with general stuff before my next class starts up for the MBA, so have to square that away first! Rob sounds like you've been procrastinating! Maybe a prime candidate for a New Year's Resolution?

Rob, sounds like you've been REALLY procrastinating! Marc, magic tracks? Is that what happens when David Copperfield forgets to wipe his boots? ;D Carl, the only 'magic' I've ever encountered was the appearance of ejector marks alongside the guide horns on every link!

Just a small note to those following this build...it is on a 2-week hiatus due to the arrival of the NFL playoffs and the inevitable consumption of available benchtime that represents for the weekend schedule. The build will return to its regularly scheduled update cycle soon!

Today it's the Bengals/Texans (Texans won) and Packers/Vikings (in progress). Tomorrow it's Colts/Ravens and Redskins/Seahawks.

I barely knew that my Dolphins ended 7-9...
And I see from the WC games that Cowboys didn't make it.

what, no ModelKasten tracks this time? I must admit - although I love the Friul and MasterClub tracks - I really started to like the MagicTracks. Those two ejector pin marks are not too funny, but quite easy to remove. And after that they are easy to assemble and they look great. Looking forward seeing them in place Bill Cheers

Luigi, the Cowboys had a shot but blew it in the final game of the season against the Redskins. That doesn't bother me though...they were an average team and deserved their 8-8 finish IMHO. I'm looking forward to the Skins/Seahawks game later today! Wouts Only because MK doesn't have a set available! Magic tracks don't require a lot of clean-up that's true and they serve their purpose just fine for static tracks, definitely not knocking them, just have come to prefer workables for the benefits they provide in terms of build sequence and weathering. Andy, I would like to see the Colts win against Baltimore...going to be interesting especially if Ray Lewis is playing!

I know Chris...but then in soccer you can have the game end at 0-0! Americans would never tolerate that type of situation.

Soccer....whats that! Jestskiddin'! ;D Bill, well it looks like you went 3 and 1 and i was 2 and 2 for the wildcard games....thought the Skins had it for awhile. Im pretty dissapointed at the Colts loss but i cant wait for Denver to spank the Ravens. Anyways, you gonna get some bench time on "tha thing" this week? Gary

Sorry Gary, the chances of a mid-week effort are slim to none now that the holidays are over and my next MBA class (Marketing) starts on Thursday. While I like the 6 week format because it moves things along quickly, it's brutal on the reading and assignment work load! Fortunately I'm almost done, just this class plus one more and will be done by the end of March barring anything unfortunate. On the football front I think next week's games are all going to be fun to watch. All the teams involved now have high-powered offenses (with the possible exception of the Texans), so should be entertaining! I'm pulling for my Niners of course and expect that the Pats, Broncos, and (taking a risk) the Seahawks will win.
