I've built this kit well over a year ago and it was a fun one. Used a lot of extras. Are you goin' to keep her OOB mate? Looks good so far! Cheers

Love it when somebody build one of old kits... I think it offers more challenges to turn it into a good build. You have my attention now...

Thanks spud! It's lifecolor lusterless OD. I planned on doing a second coat but after it dried, I thought maybe the Germans didn't spray it on heavy, and being in the desert it would look faded.

Hey guys! Had a loss of mojo for a bit but I'm back on track! Ian if you can find the Tamiya doing the corrections to the kit are not to bad. My son said he found a couple on amazon. Steve I'd love to see those pics! Ok, the tracks went together pretty well, my first time using AFV. the only part you have to be careful of is the final link, you have to glue the tracks together without the guide horns, so the final assembly joint should be under a road wheel. Here's a pic of the directions. The tracks are painted with a home made track mix of interior black, rust and steel. I used LF dark wood for the handles and Tamiya metallic gray for the tool heads and tow cables. Now the fun begins! Decals and weathering!
