Lol! My son just turned 15 this past October! Should get to the weathering soon, had some work to do and not alot of bench time. Also the M3 had got me hooked for the moment. I'll post some shots later.

Hey Guys, Got a update for the M3. After some himing and hawing I decided on having the grill flaps open, I think it looks better than having it closed. The cab has received a coat of LF OD with gauges and seats being detailed. The fighting compartment also got a spray job but just a thin coat as I was trying to get the areas that would be under the shield before mounting. Running gear, tires and grill are dryfit. Ok enough of me talking here are some pics!

Thanks Dicky! This my second attempt at a M3, the first is an old Tamiya M16 that I started. When I got to the decal part, I forgot how bad those were and after trying both types of stars, it got put off to the side. I think I'll dust it off and see what I can do with it.

Hey guys! After a brief interlude due to a HD list and Christmas shopping I got some time in the cave! Update for the 251. I got the tracks sprayed and the rubber on the wheels painted. I used LF weathered black and I think they look pretty good? Chipping was done using camo black brown and small piece of sponge. Comments always welcome and thanks for looking! ;D

Ok it was a good day today! I have an update for the M3! I originally was going to do a two tone camo from the 3rd Marine Div. But a friend gave me poster with a drawing of a 1st Marine Div. M3. So now it has the three tone on it. I first sprayed it in LC OD, then MM acryl armor sand, and finally LC German oxide Rot. More to come! Comment always welcome and thanks for looking!

Good to see the two HT's moving along. The 251 looks cool.........don't know about the ht and that camo. Must be that I'm used to all OD Green. Fun stages ahead.

Ok I need a little help here folks. I've been trying to do my streaking over a gloss coat and I'm not liking the way it comes out, would it come out better on a semi gloss or flat?

Hey Everyone! Sorry about the long post time been a bit up and down around here, Mostly try to build too much at once! Hehe! ;D
I did only a little bit of streaking on the HT's. I used AK streaking grime and africa dust. After the messup on the DAK tiger I'm taking the streaking a little easy. Here's the 251.





Here's the M3. I am thinking I may try and do a bit more dust streaking, it does look a bit to clean, but it is in the pacific, lots of rain. Let me know what you guys think, more streaking or is it okeydokey.

They both look good from here! As you say the Pacific environment is more humid and rainy depending on the location, so it stands to reason there would be less dust in general.
