Very NICE work on the tracks!!! That's something I should try to save money from not buying those expensive Friultracks....

Thanks Andy! I've used the friultrack before, I like the weight they give to the model but I don't much care for the prep work that goes into the tracks. And they are a bit of a hit to the wallet! I like modelkasten, still gives the sag and at half the cost. With being out of work and wanting indi tracks for the Tiger I gave the AFV's a try, at $25 what the hell. The results are pretty I think.
Thanks John! I couldn't resist, an olive drab Tiger Cool!
Thanks buddy! We'll hit Randy's soon! You have until the 15th to come up, after that you'll have to wait until November. got called to go to Millstone.

Hi freakstah! Nice progress on the Tiggie mate. I knew that some Tiger I's were repainted in what seems to be a captured stock of OD (though there's much debate about it), nevertheless it looks great! Really lookin' forward to next update mate Cheers

Hey everyone have an update! After a coat of future I applied the decals! I noticed a wrinkle on the left side turret number after the second coat to protect the decals. I added the Afrika corps palm tree, not sure if the 501st had them, but it looks good.

Looking good on the Tiger and the 251/22 both! I've got the DML version of the /22 running at the moment as well and you're right about the interior...not much room with the gun in place for anything other than for the crew to stand and operate the gun. If you pop over to my thread you can see what I've done with the interior based on the available reference photos I've got about the various gear the crew would need/stow in the space available.

Thanks Bill! I tried looking on the net but all I got was exterior shots. AFV doesn't offer much, actually nothing in extras and most of my parts bin is Tank stuff. Will see what I can come up with!

freak, you are doing a great job, love the decals...except for one! I guess you can feel it coming ey ;D well, actually, the 501 (and later on the 504) weren't formally part of the Deutsches Afrika Korps...they fought along the DAK but never were a part of it, so if you can (and want to ;D): remove the DAK logo since it's out of place on the Tiggy. In any case, it's a nice kitty you are doin' here mate ^^ 251 looks very neat as well btw, keep it up bro Cheers
