Hi Wout, I can offer you the last pic of 2011, sorry for the bad quality (bad weather=bad daylight). The mud guards were weathered inside and attached to the main component. Next to do is further finishing of it. But much more important : I WISH YOU ALL THE VERY BEST FOR 2012 !!! Best regards ! Guy. See you next year friends !

Zlicovac, I've photoshopped the pic my friend, played a bit with automatic corrections to make it look moreless acceptable...it was such a dark day !
TRM, thank you mate, it finally grows now the fenders are there !
Dicky, thanks fella, I have planned the finishing of a Comet A 34, an FSH18, a Dodge Bighshot (wreck), for my father a Revell's Handley-Page Halifax bomber (OOTB), a BT 7, and finally a Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer (not necessarily in that order)... I won't make it before the end of 2012 but a man's got to dream on !
Thank you for introducing me in the world of wrecks and rust, sir Rob ! The diorama idea is still in progress in my head...

Dicky, 18 months LOL, that must be enough months to fill one year and to succeed ! Rob, it seems we will have to build and paint like devils ! The painting and weathering of the SFH18 will be my next to do (decided that now). Boots, you're welcome mate, it's a long list I know, and I'm a slow builder, even a slower painter...we'll see how far I can go before the end of this year. ChrisS, thanks bud, I am enjoying the use of these colors so much, especially the yellow matches so good with the rust tones. Chrisb, thank you too, there's a difference though, I have chosen not to go for the blue/yellow color combination, instead I will make it a faded army green/bright yellow color combo. I have the following reference pic to give you friends an idea of the effect of it (I won't go for such heavily faded colors !) : Only for reference purposes ! * noticed that red element guys ? I will definately use it! Why I decide to skip the blue : I like to show the Dodge's original army green color here and there to make a link to its WWII period, combined with postwar "civilian" yellow...adding blue would be too colorful I'm afraid, it would even ruin the unique match between the green and the yellow. Today I have finished the sides of the motor compartiment. Next are the steering wheel and the wind shield ! Update soon ! Thanks for the support guys ! Best regards ! Guy.

Whow guys, I have done just a bit today (so many no modelling things done with my family, shopping for example ), the front grille was painted in rust tones, washed with oil paint, covered with rust pigments, airbrushed with green and rubbed with old brushes...jup, the Robmeister way ! It turned out well I think...it only needs a touch here and there to achieve more effect. Best regards ! G.

Prof, thank you, it's a long way to a finished model pfff. Boots, thank you ! A small message from the Dodge frontline : Today I've scratched these two bars as seen on the reference pic below : Only for reference purposes ! Tomorrow another pic... Best regards ! G.

Hi G, just wanted to add a few words, along with the other comments the fellas have made. Just superb realism I reckon, the chipping on this looks completely 'natural', and the fading and stains all work really well. Love it!!
Cheers JT

I'm having a lot of fun bringing the different rust methods together in this project Wout. I hope it will add interest to the general appearance of the Dodge truck.

Hi Wout, I'm glad it starts to work out now, slowly I'm getting familiar with the different new methods. Prof, still a whole bunch of things to do but I keep enjoying myself ! Thanks Robbo, most appreciated ! DickyF, no full scratch for me my friend, I like scratching but man (!) I HATE calculating !!! Bodge, I like the compliment mate ! I do the best I can ! Rob, update coming up, thanks ! Richard, thank you, if you guys say it looks good I'm satisfied (professionals here know !). I am still finishing the windshield, a couple of pics however say more than all the blabla...I hope you enjoy. Best regards ! G.

oh yeah. Love the scratch details Guy, especially the missing mirrorglass. Rusting looks spot on bro. The rust and texture on the dash board really gives that old look. Keep it coming, this is gonna be great when she's done.
