Hiya fellas. This is not a new build, but one I started about two years ago. Most of the painting had been done and I was stuck at the the lower hull weathering. At the time there were no AK products to aid in replicating the dirt, dust and muck I had planned on doing. So now that these are available it's time to finish this off.
I had used salt for the chipping and burnt areas but after two years of humidiity some of the remaining salt had crystalized.....so the JT will get a new paintjob after I clean her up.
I will post some pics soon, and just wanted to get the ball rolling.

LOL later today Steve. I need to make some room for this one and also plan on a new paint scheme. I've got some work to do today so later I'll get the JT out and snap some pics. Oh yeah, I also need to find all the sub-ass to the JT.....tracks, wheels etc. This baby will be in a wooded setting so I plan on using lots of ArmorFarm products on the base.

Thanks fellas for the feedback....and no T, it's not from an award plaque. Don't give my secrets away dude ((LOL)) I gave the model a coat or two of primer and my usual dark brown base coat. Once dry, an enamel clear flat was misted on the upper hull. That's as far as I got today....sorry. Not quite sure where I'm going with this one. maybe the same burnt area ??we'll see.

Thanks Edi, JT and Spud. I had planned on an all Panzergelb scheme but am leaning more towards 3tone camo !!!!!! Won't do much today so I have time to find some lost parts and repaint the wheels. Oh yeah, and put those muti part Fruil links together too.

Thanks guys. Nick as far as an interior goes, eihter that resin set or scratch what would be left of an interior. I have been wanting to do a fully blown apart JT for years now, it's all the scratchwork that has put me off. Gonna get some paint on my Jt tonight I hope. I had sealed the model with a clear flat enameel and applied the chipping fluid from AK....yesterday. I don't think it'll work if I start the chipping in a day or two. Soooo another misting of chip-fluid is in order. I'm still not sure what she's have for paint...monotone Gelb, two or three tone camo Hard or soft edge? ? I guess when I start the painting it'll come to me.

Sppud LOL
Chris, yep some did. I don't want to spend too much time on this but want it to look good at the same time. Ambush is a great idea tho....and pretty quick if I torch most of the tank........just might do that. Thanks bro

I thought about the AK disc camo stencils but with all the small PE parts, I'm not too sure. I just hope to get time to slap some paint on it. I hate starting to paint, then have to stop for some reason. Once I start I'm on a roll and have to keep going...you know how it is eh.

Hiya Rob, nice to see the first photos and eager to see some new painting/weathering:
usually these beasts came out of the factory with the Licht und Schatten camo (hard edge three tonal 'ambush' scheme camo), though there were some JagdTiger in plain dark yellow as well if I'm not mistake...however I think those were the ones with the Porsche suspension.
Anywhoo, doesn't matter really ^^, will be great, that's for sure
Cheers

Thanks Dan. just need to find enough time to get the paint and chipping done. Due to the diff camo colors I have to work fast so the chipping fluid will still work. time time time.....what we all wish we had more of.
