I knew you would approve Tony! Iking, so far its a sweet fit on everything, no probs at all. I was wondering what the difference was from the other kit....just hatches? And whats a "Dushka"? Gary Hi Gary, yup Dushka is the Dshk 12.7mm anti aircrft machinegun that is usually mounted on the hatches of russian AFVs prior to the T-64 good luck on your build and id love to see it finished!D:d cheers man!

Hey Rob, I only clipped the tracks off the sprues...i havent cleaned them yet...im puttin' that off till last! ;D SB, that Opti-Visor made alot of difference on nmy builds once i started using one and i use it 100% of the time m painting a figure. I love it! iking, thanks man! Heres an update fellas. The build will slow down now as im off into the wee fiddley bits and im gonna do a bit of minor scratch work on some areas. Here tis now. I can understand postponing the tracks...it's something that has to be done but isn't exacty an 'enjoyable' element due to the repetition and tedious nature...you've made good progress Gary, looking forward to more!

I dont know if my wearin bi-focals will be a problem though . Hows the the flash and fit look on this one ? hope they hid the knock out pin marks . SB - Not sure about Bi-focals but i wear my glasses with my Visor on no prob. As far as the kit, the fit is great so far and no ejector pin marks to fill...yet and the flash is very minimal. Other than not havin' a metal barrel, i love this kit!! Rob, ER, Bill - Thanks fellas!! I do feel "NORMAL" now since putting aside the Spit. ;D The tracks.....not my favorite No pin marks to fill but there are 3 sprue attach points to clean on every one.....meh...somebody gotta do it! ;D Gary

Gary , ok my bi focals should work ok . You thinking about getting a metal barrel for it ? Well if i had planned ahead of time i probably would have got one, But this was kind of a last minute build for a GB on armorama. I had a different kit but this made more sence so i changed last minute. It really need a metal barrel as the plastic 2 halves barrel is the only week area so far. Lots of seem work to make it look right. I just dont have the resourses to order one either. Ill do my best on the plastic one. I glued round sprue lenghts into one half the barrel before glueing the halves together as to strenghten it so i can get rough with it and not crack the seams....make sence? Gary

Spud - Thanks for droppin'in my friend. Hobgrot - I hope my build inspires some to build this kit. Go for it Man!!! Martyn - Im lovin' this kit so far, but without a metal barrel ill still give it a 8/10....but thats just me. Wish i had a fig or two for it but its just not in tha caeds this time. I have scratched up some front mud gaurds out of coffee can seal material and brass today and sanded on the barrel and thats about it. DSCF3119 by BBD468, on Flickr More tomorrow fellas. Gary

Hey Carl,
One of my favorite materials is the peel off lids from Whiskas cat food tubs. Its easy to cut, pliable, and strong. It has a little texture on it which comes in handy or you can smooth it out and it sands easy to take CA glue. I make all my straps and the like out of it. You got a cat? ;D
