Thanks guys the figure is currently sulking as I had to strip my first attempt at painting the uniform it looked too dull so it's back to the drawing board to find a better shade. The base arrived today so I am now planning the dio positions and should start on it later on

Cheers Dicky those rubbish bags are just great, I like the way you can mould them to any shape very handy. As I said in my last post I have been working on the dio layout and came up with the idea of constructing a portion of a port-a-cabin as I have some pictures of grizzlys back at base with cabins in the background. So for the cabin I used some foam board, this is the first time I have used this stuff and I found it really easy to work with I detailed the basic structure with plastic card and cut out a window. I then masked the plastic edging and sprayed games workshop rough coat to simulate the rough texture sometimes seen on the outside of these cabins. A small spot light was made up too. The paln is to show a vehicle just back from ops being de-gunged so some ammo cans etc will be used.

...and we're slowly lookin' forward to it, Smudge! lol I can't talk...the Hummer's probably my smallest but slowest build yet!!!! Ha Ha! It's weird that sometimes kits go really SLOW and others progress really FAST! I've been on this since October but then lots of time has been spent researching and waiting for parts etc to arrive. One day I will actually get my act together and properly plan a build!

Definitely one to be proud of Pete! Everything ties together nicely between the base, the vehicle, and even the cooler with the two 'coke' cans! Love it!
