Gents, A short update: It has now been primed and the interior painted in Bronze green and the exterior was painted with what I thought was Life Color Olive Drab base from their three box set. when the paint was on I thought it looked too green and then noticed that in my hurry I had actually painted it with 4BO green instead. repainted the exterior and once dry the colours look uneven because of the different base colours which actually I quite like! So parts painted: DSC_1145 by TonyThunder, on Flickr The overall effect DSC_1159 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1167 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1164 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1155 by TonyThunder, on Flickr The Engine/Motor it does look a bit too green but will darken after some washes DSC_1156 by TonyThunder, on Flickr I am currently working on the firewall and engine bay, more pics to follow. ACW Tony

Nice little update Tony, she's looking well tidy.Have to say tho,not QUITE sure about the number plate position?...If you remember the plates on the back,if they were in 'portrait',were 2 numbers,2 letters,2 numbers...Not sure that is the case on the AP's...but I'm prepared to stand corrected!! .I think that's why they got knocked about on the tailgate.. ?

Chris, I hear ya! There were in fact 3 types of rear plate, Land scape?, and to the side (either side) Portrait as you described and the third type on later vehicles was two rows; 2 no's above 2 letters alongside 2 no's (I have pics)! Thanks for looking!
T And light was fitted under the plate more often than not.

A short up date! Have painted the black camo which I have brush painted which is how it would have been done in 1/1. Looks a bit untidy but that should settle down once the paint is dry, weathered and given a matt coat. DSC_1242 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1240 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1241 by TonyThunder, on Flickr DSC_1239 by TonyThunder, on Flickr Then made a start on the many fiddly jobs that now need to be done. First up was scratch a jig and bend the hoops for the the canvas and trim the vac form roof. DSC_1248 by TonyThunder, on Flickr I also managed to start the prep for the door and glazing frames. DSC_1245 by TonyThunder, on Flickr As ever ACW Tony

Good job on the camo. You have a quite steady hand to paint such clean lines
