Hey Mark, Bill, thanks a lot for the comments As I was saying, I went on with whitewash, streaks and stains: I also muddied the undersides: As always ACW

Wow....amazing work on this kit! I like your whitewash...I've not tried one yet and I always marvel at what it brings to a subject. I have to ask..I tried the link several pages back, for the seats, but it didn't work. Is there a tutorial of some sort on the method you used for those seats? They are flat out spectacular!!!

Gary, Joe and Marc, thanks a lot for stopping by and the nice comments I have to stop for a while with this project. I tried assembling the kit tracks and I miserably failed. The way they are engineered drives me crazy so I decided that I will get my first friul set. I also ordered some stowage from Valuegear that I will add to the cargo bed. In the meantime I think I'll try to go on with some other project.

Sounds like a good plan for this one Luigi, it will be waiting patiently for the Fruils when the time comes!

That's it, Dicky. MiniArt tried to create a snap-on system to link the tracks. But the styrene is too soft for it to work properly and the single links tend to break open. Hence comes frustration, and the desire to burn them Probably it's me and the fact I have too little experience with tanks, but I'd rather go for the friuls instead of ending up loosing my mojo.

It's not you Luigi...I've heard similar horror stories on their T-70 kits which I believe use the exact same suspension and track design as this one. Fruils will definitely make your life easier!

luigi better to take a step back than push on and taint what has been an exceptional build.
