Joe, Phil and Steve thanks, you're making me blush Bones it's more or less an engine with a wooden cabana over it. It had to be noisy and smelly inside, the engine was very close and had little if no division from the cabin. It wasn't surely meant for driver's comfort. No those WW2 Soviet soldiers were very tough hombres for sure, comfort was not a consideration but then again even in western armies crybabies would not have fit in.

Let's say soviet soldiers were surely more expendable for their generals

Luigi
It seems that everybody except Uncle Joe were expendable in one way or another. Really a testimony about serving for your country.

Here's the update I posted on the other side: First run of tracks done: It's becoming faster do them as I go on. I'm using Doogs' technique of assembling them in 12 tracks runs, then attaching them. This way they are way easier to handle than doing only on long rung. I'm thinking of doing the second track run to cure my "saudade" for modelling

Sharp work on this one Lui, nice to see it cross the finish line! Don't think of this as a queen-clearing exercise but rather the culmination of a slow-moving logistics process that's producing an efficient expected result for this year's production total!
