Zero , no argument there . Lui , i didnt get into buiding armor until the mid 1980's so i was in my early 40's . It was the Italeri kits that caught my eye . They had the best detail for that era IMO . I think the first one i bought was the M47 . After looking at the pictures on the back of the box of the actual model i had to have it . That model was fun to build .............no playing with it .With the Tonka trucks i did assest in the sound effects now and then ! John , whatz up ? Hey Leon . Guy , yes , i'm sold on them , price dont matter when you get your money's worth . Marc .LOL !

Dicky , good question . Ihadnr given the flattened tires causing the problem you mentioned . Good point ! The way the center pivot of the front suspensin attaches i should be a able to put a spacer in there if the the tires dont touch . Thanks for bringing that to my attention . Rob , i almost bought the DML kit a while back . Had it on my list to order . Then i remembered the SdKfz 7/1 and 7/2 in my stash . Its be a fun challenge getting this one up to present day standards . Gawd , that DML kit looks like a beaut though .................

Looks like you've got those tracks all squared away Carl, the adaptation is flawless, would never know you had to do any mods to get them to fit.

Hey guys good hearing from all of you . Joe , the tracks in this kit are just pigs and needed replacing . No use in building this model and then putting them hogs on ...imo. Andy , hook , line and sinker . Dicky , flaps up , gear down . . Bill , i did good then . I had to vacuum the the plastic dust off of myself after all of the cutting and file work . Dont know when i'll be up to doing this on the SdKfz. 7/1 now . Its on my list of the next 3 kits ....maybe it'll be the last one . Leon , John ,

Hello fellow MSC modelers . I managed to struggle my way thru some p.e. and a bit of scratch building . The p.e. is nicely done by Eduard . I like the way the license plate and convoy light turned out .This vehicle will be assigned to Panzer Grenadier Division GroBdeutschland . They fought in the third battle of Kharkov , Ukrain in Jan.-Feb 1943 . I used copper wire to make a sturdy attachment of the side screens . Now they can be removed when i pick this model up . Its heavy thanks to all of the white metal Friul tracks . Some of rear details . The ladders were molded in the stowed position on the kit . Thanks to Evergreen now the crew can climb up to the gun platform . I used hollow soldier for the exhaust pipe. The string is the winch cable and will have a hook made for it later .The chain on the pin in the tow hook is actually tightly twisted copper wire . I managed to keep the front axle able to swing up and down . Might be handy for a future dio . Now to fix one of the ladders i just broke in half ...............ARF !
