Lui , for me that is the fun in building this old kit. Now i have the time and supplies to use the updates available to make it a better kit beyond its original draw backs . Plus some patience i've gained over the long haul of time . John , your still with us ! Bill , It looks better than i expected . I fixed the broken ladder by the way . Marc , LOL! . Done that . But no college . I wonder what them mid night queens do for the rest of their lives ? later guys .

Phil ,my endeavor here probably wont hold a candle to yours and Gar's newer HT kits . The advancements in the kit technology from this old Tami kit is spectacular .

Hey Carl, I just caught up on this and what a great little build so far:) Love the AM additions and the scratch work. It's really starting to look outstanding:). Do you have to thoroughly drill out each of the friul track links or just clean the holes up a bit? I wanna give them a try sometime, but i wanna know what I'm getting into:)

Hey Carl, one quick question: Which set of Fruils is that? ATL-24 , for Sd.Kfz. 7 - 8t (8 ton ) This set fits the entire Tamiya SdKfz 7 family of kits .The set of tracks comes with a repalcement white metal drive sprocket which has some nicely done detail and will use the kits poly cap and steel axle . It requires some heavy adapting of the kit wheels though . The problem is that the Fruil are the correct scale width and the the wheels are made to fit the overly wide Tamiya rubber band tracks . There are measurents given on the Friul istructions on how much wheel width removale is necessary to get the wheel width narrow enough to fit the width to fit the Friuls . I'll post a pic later of the instructions .

I wanna give them a try sometime, but i wanna know what I'm getting into:) No the hole is there all the way thru but on about 80 % of the track links there is a micro scoppic thickness of white metal flash on one side only (inside) that covers the hole . Its just a matter of pushing a drill bit thru it .
