Hey buds, Yesterday this Tamiya oldie arrived and it will be my next build once the Hetzer is finished. I'm still thinking wich way to go, rust bucket or not... The kit's well known boxart : I've built this one for a friend of mine who's uncle fought in an artillery unit of the Belgian Brigade Piron (they liberated Honfleur for example in the days after D-Day). A couple of inspiring photos : ONLY for reference purposes ! ONLY for reference purposes ! ONLY for reference purposes ! ONLY for reference purposes ! The coming week will be "Hetzer week" as the wife and kids are on holiday and spend more money than I earn at the same time (d*mn Venusians LOL). This Marsian however...is gonna have a G*R*E*A*T T*I*M*E !!!! Best regards ! AG.

Hi G, your ref photos are beautiful! The one with the exposed old wood panelling is really inspiring. Any way you go I'm sure this will be another winner! Cheers JT

Gary, I'll do everything I can to describe how I work. I'm not the Robmeister, all credits go to him by the way but I'll try to make good pics and write down a clear text. And your model rocks my friend !

Heck I better take notes too... Robmeister or not, you will do far better job than I can. Nice work on the wheels...

Dicky, good question, I didn't even notice it's a Ford in the box !!! I've done minor research to be honest, I just want to build a nice old wreck of a quad gun tractor. I'll do the best I can not to mix the Morris and Ford versions lol. Luigi, welcome again my friend ! Leon, thanks ! Mike, I hope it will be interesting ! I've done a bit more and now the chassis is done, here's a dryfit of the components so far. Best regards ! AG.

Dicky thanks for the info mate, this is good to know ! Gary, indeed, the kit fits just great for such an oldie. Mark, it looks ok until now, it pleases me enough to leave the scratch material aside. Later on I'll do some scratchin'. This is next, the seats could use a structure of kinda canvas cover. Milliput was applied, flattened en draped over the seat parts, cut clean and 'damaged'. I'll see if I can add more detail... Best regards ! AG. * since a week we have a new family member as one of my daughters had her 18th birthday party and got a turtle from her friends. A lot of attention went to the animal because it won't eat (we went to the vet, then to a reptile/amphibian specialist to get more info, got special food products, medecins...). It was a busy week.
