Hi all! My next project is: I plan no major upgrades, just to add some interior to the "turret". Will start it soon...

Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

Wow... I did not expect such interest I've bought this guy at a model show 2 yrs. ago... together with a Shilka. It's a tipical early Dragon kit, just like their Scud . Minimum details, wrong tire pattern, etc. I'll try not to disappoint you. Update: Some pics of what we have... Compared to my T-64... it's big I don't know it it's really 1/35 or bigger, because the BMP-1 is much bigger than it should be. Update 2: This variant of BRDM-2 has no small wheels under the chassis, so I made the cover. I painted it dark inside. This post is a bit picture heavy Update 3: After making the "wheel bay cover" I found some pics about that part of the real vehicle... after I had to rework that area This little door must be replaced... but not today.

Hi Gentlemen! I have just very limited time to pimp the Gaskin, but there's a little progress... OK, I said, no updates, but there are some things must be done. The engineers of Dragon forgot this thing for some reason but there is an "extra" rear part in the kif (for an other version, I think so), unfortunately, they could not draw a circle so this was cut off and placed to it's place Other things they forget... turret details This is what we have (not my pic): and this is the real process started the new targetting device (base): If this would be my first Dragon kit, I'd be very disappointed, but I've built their Scud already. I think the designers only had some photos (taken from miles in the dark ) so they had to use their fantasy... Will post more as soon as I can. Thanks for watching

You're right, it is a bit skinny on detail but you're correcting it really well..

Happy sunday, Everyone! @ray, thanks for the pic! This time no pics, sorry. Keep working on the turret and started thinking about selling my Shilka (+interior, +PE). This quality is not what I expected from dragon (lots of flash, poor fittings, missing/wrong details... ). More pics, when I finish the turret upgrade.

Thanks Guys! But it's not about the time... I just thought that "Dragon" means something better. Even their Scud was better than this deafpanzer - Scud 7 months, BA-20 5 months, T-64 5-6 months, so time does not bother me I have some more sado-mazo kits in my stash, but I know they are poor quality so there will be no surpriese... Here is my SM-band:
