Hahaha...yeah, my endless buying sprees are (mostly) over. When you see a pic of the stash room, you'll understand why. Don't get me wrong - there's still a bunch of stuff on my "wants" list, and I'm not going to pass up a killer deal. Show vendors are the best!
Just printed out the stash list, decal list, books/mags list, entry forms; boxed up builds, a little something I need Steve Reid to make me some copies of, pile of stuff for Boyd...what am I forgetting?

We had one vendor cancellation which was filled with a new vendor (first timer) which allowed me to add another table to a returning vendor, so we are not at 65 vendor tables! WOOHOO!

Just got back from the show. Was great to see you all again and shoot the bs all day. Congrats to all MSC'ers who picked up gongs, well done fellas. Dupes....you are a sick man bud...lol
Got to meet Ron of Red Frog Hobbies. Very nice fella and was great to just talk models with him.
I had forgotten to take half the stuff I needed for the show..including my Stug I rushed to finish. I also forgot other things...like a camera. Got home and everything was sitting where I left it...on my desk...argh
The fellas will be posting pics today/tomorrow.

Sounds like you had fun. Next time you should buy me a plane ticket so I can help you pack all of your stuff for the show. I didn't break anything I packed so I guess I am good enough to pack your builds too.

Me? Insane? I don't know what you guys are talking about. Me and Mia finally got home at 11 last night. Love going to shows, but man I wish some of them were closer. Like, a LOT closer. 830 mile round trip - you guys wonder why I make sure I come home with some good loot! I should take a pic of the show haul before I file everything away. Had a really good time hanging out with Rob, Ken, Todd, Al, Iain, etc. Wish we could do it more often...but that ties in with the whole 830 mile round trip thing. Heh. Re: gongs, I entered 10 builds, got 8 medals. My 1/72 Tu-22 Blinder got shut out, which was kind of surprising, as it WON the category at Baycon in November against what I thought was stiffer competition...the vagaries of IPMS judging, I guess.

Hahaha...thanks! I thought it looked alright. That's the one thing that makes AMPS judging SO much better - knowing WHY your build got dinged.

Got pic of that Blinder? I don't think I have seen it before... you can always enter it again next year as long as it didn't win anything. I entered my Marder at show last year and it didn't win anything. So I made some improvements using AK products and re-entered... it finally brought home a gong this time.

I wonder myself sometimes!! LOL!! Not bad mouthing them at all, as they did a great job this year...not an easy job to judge....but The L/70 I entered received a silver...to which I was happy with and all was good...the T-62 sunk in the sand...you know the one that I didn't want to build the lower half of the Old Old Tamiya kit and tossed it, burried more than 50% of it in sand on a quick and dirty base and was only slapping this together to show a friend some techniques....Gold.....LOL!!!! Honestly kind of humorous!! OK...I will have the meek offering of pics later tonight as I have some supper to eat and then of to coach some softball practicing!! Phil!!! Sweet A$$ job on the Gold BTW!! Dupes...you still are a bit insane...you know it, I know it and the 30 people seeing you unroll the 22' wonder out in front of them!!!

Yes, some of us have known about Dupes' insanity for some time now...there's a reason he rides bikes and lives so far from anywhere!
