Hi guys, I'm just messing around with the idler wheels on my current wip (Dragon Pz. IV 6363) and having assembled the idlers wheels it's VERY obvious that there is a missing hole to fit the wheel onto (Idler wheel A onto part A40)? Any ideas? Ben

HI Ben! Can you snap a quick pic of the parts and the section in the instructions? A little easier to visualize. Not familiar with this kit but the whole lower end is most likely interchangeable on a ton of kits. Guessing there is a part that DML conveniently for got to add to the instructions.

A pic would help Ben. I'm looking at the instructions for that kit and not sure if you're seeing a problem with how A40 attaches to the hull or if you've got a problem with how A40 attaches to the idler itself. If you've got a problem with how it attaches to the hull, you must do the assembly work for the mounts in Step 4 first and attach those to the rear hull plate to create the mount for A40 to insert into. HTH!

Basically, there is no hole in the back faces of the idlers for A40 to insert into?

Basically, there is no hole in the back faces of the idlers for A40 to insert into? Are you sure you assembled them correctly? If you did, then it sounds like the parts weren't molded right and you need to contact Dragon Care for replacements or drill out the back faces yourself to create the necessary hole.

Cheers Bill, Yep - parts A34 and A35 combine to make part 'A' (or an Idler Wheel). Part A40 is the Idler mount which in has one half fitting to the hull and the other half exposing another small round pice that pushes into the hole in the centre of A34 which isn't there! It's a pretty simple piece os build work so I was really scratching my head. I then held part A34 up to the light and looked at the place where the hole should be and noticed that the plastic there was quite thin so I poked it with the scalpel and it pushed straight through! So ALL SORTED! Cheers guys - sorry I couldn't give you photos at the time but Mum is out with it.
This will no doubt help as I know a few of you have this kit in their stashes and although Bill's was ok mine wasn't so if your 6363 Pz.IV Idler has no hole you know what to do! LOL!
Thanks again,
Ben
