Camping is fun and all my friend. But when it's getting that cold, one had better know what they're getting into. Perhaps when it warms up and the mosquitos are out in droves? Dave

Thank you for your patience...

Andy
From the looks of your avatar I'm thinking you may be looking for the wrong object, that guy looks more like a Duwk's cousin the "M1AA1 amphibious platypus" or in military terms the AMPDUWK. This is probably the reason you don't recognize the DUWK when you see it.

4,986.8 miles in 15 days to be specific... Hang on guys, I think I've spotted why the DUKW is not being worked on. Look at the temperature on his trip monitor showing 75 degrees F. I can assure it is only about 8 degrees F here in the Republik of Indiana! Looks to me like our Andy is in sunny Florida!

Hmmmm, Didn't you start this darn build about two years ago Andy? That push-bike looks like a fun build! Loadsa Etch! Convenient excuse that other families pulled out of the camping eh? I bet they all went and you stayed at home in your mancave in the warm! Ha! I was slightly bemused by the Letters on your dashboard? P, R, N, D? I then remembered that you colonials are yet to master the art of driving stick-shift (or manual gearbox) cars! Reluctantly I shall be serious for a minute and pray that you finish this DUKW sometime in 2014. It looks tasty! Chally was totally excellent btw dude! Update ASAP please Sir! Ben

I'd swear the pitch on the bike chain is to scale. Outstanding work Andy.

Carl- Glad you speak duck language too! Bet you are related to one of guys in Duck Dynasty... LOL Thanks! Paul- Will do... happy to have you around! Jeremy- Thanks mate! Ben- Ha ha ha! Nice try! Started it ten months ago in April. No worries I will finish it... deadline to finish this has been set for March 1st so it will be ready for the model show on March 15th. Thanks buddy! Vlad- Happy to have you aboard... hope you didn't have to go thru all 38 pages? LOL Joe- Thanks Joe Cool! Bill- Not bad idea! But I want it to be historically correct... I read somewhere that French bikes only came with white flags. Dave- Thanks my friend... that chain parts was a nightmare! LOL Pete- Yep it will be done don't worry... thanks dude!

Guys- Quick update... kit didn't come with decals for the dashboard. It was bland... So had to get a set from Archer... I was very disappointed how it came out... due to two reasons it was not easy applying in tight enclosed space and the transfers didn't stick on very well as I lost two. But they came out OK... you will notice it is missing two on the left dashboard. I might paint or make something for it or just leave 'em blank. How can they expect me to apply in there? Never again! LOL Some letters are missing so I will apply wood chipping in there for correction... I don't think I will ever order Archer set for interior if I have to go thru this again... it worked on the exterior twice in the past.

Andy, that's too bad Bro. On the bright side, I agree with you about the wood chipping to blend things in. It will look like normal wear and tear. You got this covered Dude

I was slightly bemused by the Letters on your dashboard? P, R, N, D? I then remembered that you colonials are yet to master the art of driving stick-shift (or manual gearbox) cars! You'd be surprised...I know a LOT of people who have never driven a stick shift. Never. It's pretty amazing. "You Colonials". Hahahahhahaaa
