Last night some filters were applied a mix of AK Rust streaks wash and a few drops of Dak Wash highly thinned its looking good next up will be a dust filter then pin washes using AK OIF wash pics coming soon

Hey Dan, I think you Paint and mix of green looks freakin awesome! Unless your tryin to do a specific, right on the money, accurate Abrams.....who cares man...let the rivet counters say what they want! If you love it, we do too! Hey all a small update on some progress to the Tusk a gloss coat was applied to seal the base colours then i made up some filters using AK enamel washes thinned with white spirit these were highly thinned so not to alter the basecoat too much as i want to keep a bleached sand looking colour also a few details were painted in next up will be some pinwashes

Dicky Ha Ha Ha we succeeded then in making you get the kit :)you wont regret it i think with a few of your additions it will be a awesome model there will be a base in the future im trying to get this finished for the nationals so i will start the base after that :/

Martyn its a real quick build buddy unless you start adding details i added a few and stopped there only thing is painting is a long process a big tank to cover

i have made a start on the pin washes to the tusk armour and hull when i get the turret done i will put up some pics im liking the look of the pin washes and i am unsure if i want to cover it in dust looks too good to cover up I KNOW DAN B SHOCK NO MUD OR DUST YOU CRY :)i will see at the end once the chipping is done

Yea man i have seen some Tuskies with stowage but they are never rammed full of the stuff this will hopefully be in a street scene so they dont have stowage still pondering tho on the idea of a museum set up no muck just chips and scratches and bits of rust :? shame to cover the sandy greeness up

Dicky: The Tuskie is a project for the Nationals my goal was to get it done for then as last year there was not a lot of modern stuff and i wanted a challenge would you swap it at a later date if it was finished? im up for that
