Hello fellow MSCers heres another tiny update please excuse how long this project is taking i am really finding it hard to find enough time on this one

I have made a start on the chipping stage of the build the lower hull is complete so far upon looking at various ref pics i noticed there was not very prominent chips and scrapes so i kept it too a minimum i started with the lighter chipping colour first LC light dust was perfect for this then onto the darker chipping colour from AK im hoping to get the remaining parts chipped by next weekend as time is getting tight for the Nationals :\

Thankyou chaps for the positive comments i will keep the turret quite clean as it is a non traffic area once its covered in dust i think the chips should blend in nicely i hope

Thankyou chaps for the positive feedback glad you all approve 90% of the chipping has now been finished i will add the final chips on the next bench session next up i will be using AK rust and AK OIF streaking for streaking then a dusting with some pigments still undecided to add some wet sand splatters will see as i move on with the weathering

Hey chaps first all of all i would like to thank all of you for the positive comments since my last update its much appreciated i have made a start on the weathering pigments were used for the dusting along side some highly diluted tamiya buff & white acrylics applied through the AB only problem is i have made the base colour too light so the dust does not show that well oh well lesson learnt for next time once this layer was applied i used some AK pigments and enamel washes for some streaks then a rust wash was used on some of the larger chips i hope the photos show some of the effects it looks a better in person next up will be the tracks and some final effects........

Thanks for the comments fellas really appreciate it small up date tracks have been finished side armour now attached and just some final weathering then this one will be finished i will post up some pics when i recieve some AFV lense stickers which should arrive in the next few days

Right chaps this is the last post before the final pics the tracks have been painted and dustified and installed then the armour could be fitted this was then attacked with a light dusting of 3 mixes of different shades of pigments i mixed up a thinned mix of enamel clear gloss for watermarks and speckeling this also fixed the pigments in different areas a darker pigment was used for streaks and general shading in shadow areas i wanted to add some wet sand splatters but decided against this as i am happy with how it looks next up will be the lense stickers once mr postman turns up then some final pics hope you have all enjoyed this build as much as i have thanks for all the positive comments and questions

Great model of a great tank, Dan. I like your paintjob of these little scratches on the tank. You need a steady hand and a very fine brush.
