Thanks Guy! Weathering is always the 'danger zone', have to be careful not to go to far too fast!

Thanks Leon, always try to show the steps where possible in case someone else is crazy enough to try it. BJ, glad you like the result, always fun to see the transformation happen at these stages.

Tex if you stir the paint a little more you would eliminate all those streaks. Tony lee

It's been a bit since I've popped in. What stunning progress you've made on this beastie. The try-camo is tied together very well with your use of the wash and dot filter. I hear ya about the "fresh eyes" approach.....especially with the finish line being so close. Dave

Tony now you tell me! Day late and a dollar short. Chris, thanks, just one final leg to go to get it done! Dave, I've learned to listen to that little voice that says 'not just yet' whenever I'm contemplating pushing onward to the next stage. Right now it's still possible to fix little things if I find them but once that sealing flat coat is on, it's no turning back! Glad you like the progress on this little beast.

T, the dots had been whispering to me over the last two weeks, so I finally got to shut them up! Andy, definitely wouldn't win any beauty contests...the Germans were going for practical over pretty on this one for sure! Deano, thanks glad to have you along!

Thanks Nate! Tobi, to be fair we didn't say it was the ugliest vehicle we've ever seen! That armored food truck wouldn't win any beauty prizes either but it is a nice model!

I'll second that. Even a Japanese Chi-Ha is a beauty-queen next to it!
If shrapnel served with lots of noise is your food then this is your vehicle. It was used on the proving ground to determine arty ballistics. Has a modified 232 chassis underneath with twin tires.
Cheers, Tobi

Now that is what I am talking about. The weathering stage always brings a model to life. Excellent work Bill, and love the fish too.

Rob, thank you sir, the fish are the remnants of what used to be another hobby...I had a fully fledged ecosystem Koi pond in my backyard at one time several years ago. Keeping an indoor tank with these three guys is a much simpler proposition let me tell you! Bob, you may be on to something! Luigi, glad to have you stop in as well, hope your daily commute isn't too much of a killer these days!

Bill my two brothers always had tanks with various types of fish. I grew up with having fish tanks in the house. My dad had a huge tank with diff fish but as a kid my favorite was the shark... I think my younger brother still runs a salt water tank.

Luigi, I'm honored to know that you spend some of your precious online time following along! Summer's nearing an end soon though...and NFL football season's about to start, my favorite time of year. Rob, same here, grew up having a small fish tank of some kind around as a kid...never attempted salt water though, too expensive and high maintenance! I have 4 tanks now, the big Koi tank, a smaller 48 gallon 'pretty fish' tank in the living room, and two turtle tanks, one with a red-eared slider and the other a yellow mud turtle. The slider is a former pond resident and the mud turtle is a 'native' to the area guest who showed up in the backyard after some very heavy rains about 5 years ago, his name is 'Noah'. Gary, glad to see you back online brother! Thanks for stopping by and the comments!

Bet Bill will name his next fish Nemo just to make our friend here happy? My wife always wanted a fish tank but not now until things slow down when boys are a bit older.

Anthony, thank you sir! Luigi, oh that's rough, sorry to hear that...but you could always go the streaming route if you had to. I use the NFL's AudioPass to listen to broadcasts of games (I'm a Niners fan) when they aren't televised in my local market. It's better than nothing! Andy, it's bad luck to name Koi...every time that's happened, the fish has died. No names for Koi!
