Hi all Bruce and Bill cheers guys Just a few more up date pics, with the horse i painted the base coat of white and then added the shading, and then did the brown blotches on top, i realise it means shading the same area twice where the blotches are but then i get a nice neat edge to the two colours So this is the left side of the face just about complete The right side of the neck base coated and then the first shading done And the blotches added and then the first shading on them And max asking to be taken out for a walk Paul

I really don't think that you should have mentioned your undergirth stitching, just conjures up a nightmarish image Paul

Nice progress Paul! As for under-girths and stitching, the less said the better in that department, especially since it would involve an ensuing discussion around straps and buckles and NO ONE wants to go there I'm sure.

Ferkin blobs is the right words, im having to be careful that i dont paint countries when i do the blobs, must be some kind of sub concious thing, ive already had to paint out Italy and South America Anyway carried on with the left side and just about all of the shading is done for the front half now The bridle is also complete, burnt umber base coat and highlighted with various shades of orange, just the metal work to add Paul
