[quote author="@ Remember - the ones on your bench are SMALL - the ones in the field are FAR AWAY.....got it Dougal Paul? [/quote] Your right jackwagon but they are the same size Many thanks Nicusi Quick change of topic, i have been trying for yonks to find a way to make buttons, rivets, anything small and round with some success. I have tried stretched spru and a candle, and styrene rod and a soldering iron, and late last night i had a eureka moment. i part drilled the end of some 2mm rod so that it was domed inside and then pressed it into some clay and eureka it stuck to another bit of clay and came out small, round and domed hopefully you can just about see it. i dont know if this is the best way but it appears to work quite well. all i need to do now is sculpt something that needs buttons Paul

More great paintology on ole Dobbin,Sapper!!! Fair enough Master CB, I'll behave! Don't want you sending the Styrene Mafia to pay me a visit. Paul, got to hand it to you, you've got a keen eye for the application of this sort of thing. Just the right amount and variation to give it a natural feel without over-doing it.

Roger that Paul, Pintos are often referred to as "paints" in the Southwest or basically most of the western states. Keep er rollin;)
Cheers, Ski.
P.S. We always wanted one, a paint, but we'll settle for the two biggins we got now, Appaloosa and an Arabian mix .
P.S.S. Yes, that is a solid black Appaloosa, very uncommon. She's one cool pony.

Making good progress here Paul! I'd lean towards the 'no shoe' myself but can't hurt to check with the museum dobbins!
