I don't miss hot and humid, now I just have HOT. I have to paint early in the morning or later after the sun sets, else the paint dries on the way to it's target.

Hiya fellas. Forgot about this one...lol She is in the cabinet waiting for a dry day.

Yep the one on the rail transport is the Loki. That is the one I am doing with the Trumpy kit...but years after the war where she sits rusted up.

Well after seeing that T slapped some primer on his BiMP I thought what the heck, why not give it a go. Soooo I started to AB some primer on Thor. was going good for about 15 min, then water spatters. Did manage to get most of it primed, albeit she needs more. Some areas got good coverage while others need another light coat. So this means I have gotten closer to the actual painting. If I can get the panzer gray on her then the fun part will start....the weathering.

Keep at it bit by bit Boss! I started out shooting and got a spatter or also...leftovers from the damp weather! Of course I am inland a bit more than you! Should be dryer tomorrow for you I think!

Bill & T, yep the weather isn't too bad today. I did manage to get a third coat of primer on her. I started with AK gray primer, then two coats of vallejo panzer gray primer. It's a big model with lots of nooks and recessed areas that didn't get primer the first and second time. Still have the wheels to prime.
I'll be using some Tamiya german gray as well as Lifecolor panzer gray CM paints on this one. The Tamiya paint will be the base color and some light CM with the LC paints.
Will try to get some pics this weekend.

Just a quick update. Not really paint but several primer coats with the last being a dark gray that will be a sort of pre shade for the base color to follow.

Leon, thanks bud. The Leo would be cool to do, but way too big and no place to put it.

Got the base gray paint on it ans some light CM. Will let it all dry/cure before taking some pics.

As promised, some pics of Thor with base gray and light CM. I also did a bit more green on the KV-I since I wasn't too happy with the dark color.
