I like the brown Rob, and when you see the Bovinton Tiger1 its camed the same sort of way not a strong contrast, but I can see the advantage to the gray for weathering.

It is looking good, nice contrast grey-yellow. But now it looks more like the Gross Deutschland Pz IV's in Russia, You don't want to change the setting? Eddy

Sorry all for the not replying or keeping this up to date. Not really much to show since I haven't done a think in the hobby room for a few weeks now. the humidity has really been bad this summer and the painting and weathering just doesn't work right.
As for the gray and gelb, yeah the pics don't show the actual colors so I will have to work with the setting a bit.
I will take a couple of pics of where she is at.

Been working on this here and there when I have a few minutes. Got chipping mostly done as well as some washes and filters. Waiting for dryer weather to AB the burnt areas.

A very looong overdue update on the F2. I spent a couple of hours this evening on this one and finished the chipping ad some dark washes and dust weathering. I also AB'd some black for the burnt areas and that is what I am working on now before starting on the wheels and sprockets. It looks better in person than in the pics. Will try to get some better pics when the wheels and sprockets are done and mounted.

Hey brother, thanks man. Yeah it's nice right now and the AB didn't sputter one bit. Thing is that it's late and I had to stop or I would have slapped some dust on the KV's too....lol

let me get this strait, it looks better in person? dang man it looks fantastic in the pictures. joe Thanks Joe. The thing is that I don't paint and weather for photos, but for the eye. The weathering is usually more subtle and so less noticeable in pics. T is great at producing fantastic photo and in person viewing. I am stuck in my old ways..lol Andy thanks brother.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for stopping in and commenting. Been some time since I worked on this one. Gonna put the ship aside and get back to this. Here are two pics of what she looks like with some weathering on the exhaust and burnt area, done a week or so ago. Attachments:
