Here are a couple of quick shots of tonight’s progress in the paint shop. I tried to keep the OD on the light side as weathering will darken it up.

Thank you fellas!!! The tools, straps, wheels, and 30 cal. Barrels were detail painted. Then, the model was given a coat of Future to seal the paint and prep it for decals.

BigJohn
When you say "The tools, straps, wheels, and 30 cal. Barrels were detail painted." are we talking painted on the tools and then mounted as opposed to mounting and painting? Your painting is very good and I can see no glitches in it anywhere. I see you sprayed Future on the entire build. I have never done that I just brush some on the decal location, I must assume the Future has no affect on the weathering work.

Bones Bones. The tools were attached and then painted after the model was base coated. I use fine pointed brushes and thinned down paint. I do have to go back and do a little touch up now and then when I color out side of the lines, LOL. As for the Future, I cover the compete model as the first step to seal in the enamel paint. It also helps darken the finish and keeps the overall finish looking uniform as opposed to just glossing the areas where the decals would go.
