Neat! Between the two of you, maybe I'll finally be able to talk myself into dragging my Scimitar off of the shelf of doom.

Dicky, thank you.Your comments are much appreciated ;)I was thinking the same thing about white being hard to photo.I think I'll this cure for a few hours and give it another coat.

I agree with Dicky. Difficult to tell from the pictures. From my point of view, I would not go too hard on the white. First these vehicles tend to be over-painted, second washes, filters and flaked paint will do their share to cancel a not perfect white coat out, and then there is dusting.
Cheers, Tobi

Leon, when you do start the washes, filters, weathering etc, bear in mind that British AFV crews are taught to always mount the vehicle from the front,so try and see how the crews would get to their individual positions.

Leon, after the weathering process you might even want to go back to the white and fresh it up with some mapping here and there from thinned enamel color. I did use AK's "Salt streaks" from their maritime line on my Steyr for that!

Dicky, your description is lacking the information with which foot to start...
However, I think it might be saver to stick to a good reference picture, so in the end it will not look like a worn out and soiled white wash!
Cheers, Tobi

CB was actually taught to mount his armour from the front via a small bench, onto a box, from the box to a section of scaffold and from there onto the stepladder....to get into the drivers position he simply used the ropeladder....... Leon,IF I'm totally honest,if you've seen how they used to get Paul P's Knights on their horses...That's what they had to do with me!!!!!! 'A frame',and a block and tackle!!!
