Andy, thank you kindly buddy.Primer and paint to come next week some time. Tobi, sounds like a cool project you want to do.I may end up doing the MERDC CAMO. Paddy, thank you kindly .I had a little prob a first with the mesh sticking .I ended up using CA glue and worked my way around the basket holding it in place with the handle of a paint brush til it set up.As you can see in the pic,i have to trim off the excess on one piece.

Looking very good. Remember though the Marines did not use the A3 only the A1. You do have all the right fittings for an A1 except the ribbed aluminum road wheels. A1's usually had steel wheels, but and it's a big but, LOL, Marine tanks from that era could just as easily have run the aluminum wheels.
The armor units we worked with at 29 Palms were constantly changing tracks, wheels, idlers and the like due to the terrain. The steel wheels held up better in the desert than the aluminum ones especially the way jarhead tankers drove them. There were other issues as well due to the sand . The snorkel was a common sight in the desert back then.
Looking forward to the rest of this build.

Always good to see the primer go down, it means the fun's just beginning! (Unless it's Dicky, he hates painting, then it's the hell that's just beginning!)
