I'm in.
Tams M60s are quite nice but I think the suspension is a little lacking, depends on how far ya wanna go? I have the one with Reactive Armour part built, really must take another look at that..

Mack, happy to have you looking in when you can .The turrets do look awesome.Built the M60/A2 ages ago and the turret looked like a space ship .LOL

Count me in Leon, always ready to follow the building of a cold war warrior like the M60. The Tamiya kit is an old but nice kit the only real flaws with this oldie should be the suspension as prof already mentioned the word around about it besides lacking some detail should be it sits to high apparently Tamiya measured on a empty M60 tank? In my humble opinion thats not a problem to be concerned about, it's just a model for Christ sake and it looks like a M60 but the other problem is worse, somehow Tamiya got the rear exhaust/engine ports all wrong there should not be any spaces see link: and how it should look: linkOther M60 kit on the market have the correct rear.

Jack, glad to have you along for the ride.I see what you mean about the rear exhaust ports.I am thinking of getting the Verlinden M60 engine and compartment up grade for this.Looks like it comes with new intake grills, rear exhaust port and rear deck.

Nice start to this one Leon, a small deck doesn't sound like a bad trade for bench time!

Welcome aboard Prof.Classic Tamiya indeed,so far this is a joy to build .Very little flash and few EPM'S. Good to see you Ian .Yes two barrels, one for Army version the other for Marine version. Not sure with one i am going to use yet. Disorder, glad to have you along on this one.Been a long time since i built an old Tamy kit.
