That's one rockin' camo scheme, Leon. I've a Tamiya M247 Sgt. York waiting in the stash. When I get the courage to tackle rebuilding the rear deck, I plan to finish it in this scheme. Hope it turns out as good.

Nice job Leon. The decals give a neat colorful spot. The whole tank screams now for a heavy dusting and after that some spilled fluids here and there to break the monotony! The colors for the MERDC were also good choice, because they suit the tank well.
Cheers, Tobi

Why thank you Jeff . LOL Since this is a desert camo i'm thinking some dust and staining should make her look good.

Evening fellas,i have another question.I want to do a pin wash and have no idea what color i should use.I do have the AK wash for NATO vehicles and the AK filter for NATO tanks that i used on the M109.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Leon! You could use either for the washes, just make sure you mix things up really good as the wash would be a bit dark or a little less translucent in nature than the filter. If you have Streaking Grime, this thinned down works excellent as would any of the dark washes. If you have any oils add a touch to some thinner and have at it!

See? With the dust on the field drab doesn't look so dark after all! Pulled everything together nicely and leaving enough contrast...
Cheers, Tobi

Thanks Dicky ,i think i finally got the hang of doing washes and how good they make details stand out.The dusting is just enough as to not hide the camo pattern.

Tobi, snuck in on me buddy. You are right about just enough contrast .I did a few light layers and after each layer i stood back to see how it looked until i was happy with it.
