I went on painting this one. It's about time I push it towards the end line. I finished painting the invasion stripes. I did some mistake positioning them, so I had to repaint the turret three times (!). The green tones involved at this stage are the wonderful 4BO green set from lifecolor. I know, this one wasn't painted 4BO, but the tones look right to my eyes, much closer to a modern russian green than to a 4BO.<!--more--> I've used only the base tone and the light one, I didn't want too much contrast. This is a brand new tank, clean and perfect. This had to be a parade, not a dirty long war. After painting the white stripes I added some rough look to the boundaries as they were painted in a hurry and all the pictures show they were very roughly done. This is how it it looks right now: I've alsto started to plan a base and some important details to depict the scene I have in my mind. A good friend should help me providing a central piece of the scene, but this will be a surprise, so no one but me, him and another friend know what I'm talking about. The base will be set in a czech city, so I bought some sewer hatches and I will start sculpting the paved road soon. So, next up base, decals and weathering. Jope you like it, all comments are welcome.

Excellent work Luigi! Really looking forward to how this develops. I've just noticed how similar the turret is to the one of the Object 279 that I've just started.

Thanks Bill and Boots I've had very few time for the forums, I can't read it on the cellphone, it's too small for my poor eyes and the app's much worse than FB's one. So I'm much more present on FB... In the meantime I did some more on this one: Next up some light dusting and OPR. I'm also planning the base, I will try to raise the bar on my base building skills. Hope you guys like it.

Leon I wish you were right. I have to do all the weathering on the tank, not to mention the base and another element of the dio. Thanks Todd I am currently working on a dio mockup made in cardboard
