Gents, your comments mean a lot Marc, No dude, Giants FAN, not Giant Hands Dicky and Boots, there are no points deducted for late entries, so all is good. And Dicky, I may have to "Go Big" when it comes out, cause I'm likin' this little one.

Nowt wrong with a good challenge bro , as a matter of fact i read a good tip on the way you do it.......if you make a black wash up and let capillary action run it around the outer rim it saves you painting up close to the rim using the brush and leaves a nice tight finish........just one i remember from a car modelling mag

I do mount them on toothpicks and rotate them as I apply the paint. It's almost Zen like I will say the zen factor wears a little thin when I'm doing a Panzer or Tiger

Nice effort being put into this one, like Deano said the hand/finger shots really make you appreciate the size of these kits when working in 1/72 / 1/76

Robbo, thank you, your comments are always welcome Dicy, glad to see you got back from the show in one piece, or at least with your fingers intact. You hit the nail on the head, you kinda get into a groove and just go with the flow, so to speak. Took a little break this week end but should be back at it tomorrow. I'm thinking interior.

Jeff, noticed the clear sprue at the beginning of your blog, so at what point would you need to place the windows on the vehicles body? Nice job on the lower chassis, those wide wheels are nicely represented. For a small vehicle it sure is loaded with plenty of detail.
BTW that’s a nice muddied up Hummer.

Yo Eddy, Good to hear from you Man. Yeah the kit is pretty good as far as detail goes.I'm not really a rivit counter but I did notice the tread pattern on the tires is wrong. I tried to find some resin ones, but no luck. What I'm thinking on the windows is, get the interior done, then assemble the body leaving the roof off. There is enough room I think to slide the windows in through the open top. Glue the windshield to the roof, the roof to the body, touch up any spots and we should be good. At what point in the build this will happen, I'm not really sure yet. We'll just have to see how it pans out. Gary, Thanks Bub, it's going pretty well so far, I kinda screwed up the pointers on the guages. The next ones will be better now that I've done it once.
