Thanks Neems. Those pics help a lot. I knew I took a chance on the seats with the brown, but I think I'm gonna stay with that color. I'm plannig on trying to do some seatbelts (excellent pic, just what I needed ) in black and I think they will show up better on the brown. Likewise with the Armor sand interior. Let's just call it "in theater mods".

Tonight's progress. Steering wheel and shifter in place. I may do a little more detailing on the dash. And here's the first attempt at the seatbelts. Thanks again for the piccys Dicky. Andy, I did your seat first Buddy. If anybody needs to be strapped in, it's you

Jeff, that dash resembles the dash on my Toyota Tercel - no radio. Looks like your passengers will have to sing along with you so don't strap them in too tightly. Great job on the seat belts, just sitting there on the wood block they kinda do look like baby seats but without the arm rests.

You're right about the seats Eddy. I've got two strapped in the back seat of the truck to cart the Grandkids around

O.K., between new desktops and Grandkids, it's been a busy Weekend. But I did manage to squeeze some bench time in. Not much I know. Seat factory has completed their order Now on to the body Body? Body? Anyone seen a body?

Thanks D. When I first opened the box, I thought the body was missing. I was looking for a one or two piece assembly. It will be interesting for sure

I found this set in my stash this afternoon -had completely forgot I had it. I think I originally got it to scale up the parts for s 1/35 Bieber rather than stratch one up from Mike Shakletons plans Yeah Right- like I've got any of the nonce to doany of that... Might actually build one or other of these sometime if my eyes don't give out first P

It should build up pretty well. From what I can see, the bridge segments are made so they can be deployed.

Oooooh some seriously tasty Horizontalandverticalassnbacksupportage assemblies fella - she's really comin' along a treat Jeff Belts look peachy I am humbled by your phraseology and am very thankful for your accolades ........ I think That big word you used, isn't that what Mary Poppins used to say? MORE PROGRESS! We have a body, almost Looks a little weird with out the belly pan. Sides, fenders, and grille are glued. Roof and bulkhead are dry fitted and taped to keep things settled. Wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Fit is really good. Model On.

Many thanks Gents. Your comments are most welcome. Hope to get a little more done tonight (eastern standard time Dicky). Deano and Dicky, A Dio? REALLY? The way I build it would take Me longer than Andy's DUKW build.

Deano, hadn't given that ANY thought I will take it under advisement Guys, the fit on this kit is so good, the large gap between the body and the front end worried Me, but I think I found the reason. Take a look at these two photo's and tell me what you all think. I think it has a tilt front end. See the grab handle?

Jeff, good progress and great job on the seats, I especially like the seat belts. Ah, oh, Jeff where did you manage to get that oversize fancy toothpick that is placed in front of the vehicle in some of your pics? Are you taking up woodworking too?

I've been messing around with the new 'puter trying to figure out the picture thing, so I didn't get as much done as I wanted tonight. But moving forward none the less Glue dry, tape off the body. Things seemed to stay in place fairly well. Rear lower body panel, tailgate, and rear bulkhead stuck Bellypan trimmed, sanded, dry fitted and ready for primer. Hood and roof dry fitted just to make sure That's it for tonight,it's off to the basement to prime.Whoop!
