I didn't know the Waldo, but the Remora is one of my fav scifi kits ever. Fichtenfoo's factory develops lots of stunning ideas. Can't wait to see you turn it into a model. Knowing your standards it will be memorable

pt109, The zimmerit is done and I have today removed most casting blocks from the remaining parts only wet sanding to do on the parts and they are ready for the model :-)
Lucas thnx for the URL saw some nice stuff there. I don't like the Aviators don't ask me why I really don't know :-(
Dicky I know you are waiting for those ships ;-) Now some more time for modeling to finish the last two models on the bench so that I can put all my time in this two beauty's

I have done some cleaning up work and a dry fit of the wheel house on the hull and the fit is good :-) Re scribe all the panel lines on the hull so they where a little deeper an noticed that I can use some rivets that are missing I must scratch build one new part because the kit part was not good casted, different thickness in resin so it was heavenly warped and could not getting straight with hot water :-(, its the part with the red dot in it.

If you want, write a mail to IM - they deliver spare parts, if necessary. PS: Do you know a brand called MK35?! Theyre from France and produce wonderful 1/35 civilian figures - maybe you want to add some here?! www.exter-company.com/Nach-Marke/MK-35/Lucas.

Thnx guys.
Lucas, Its more work to order a new part from IM than scratch build that part :-) I have a set off three figures from IM but could use a few civilian figures for the Waldo and maybe in the diorama, I take a look at the site saw some nice figures.
Bullardino its the part with the red dot, Its casted thick to thin as paper an going again to thick. Normally I used a hair dryer ore hot water for making warped parts again straight but this one did not go straight :-( Some plastic card, strip and bolts will do the trick ;-)

Despite the minor part warpage, this looks like it has a lot of potential Ron, so many rivets and such to play with.
