Thanks to all of you for looking in and for your comments ! Wouts , The wood on the rifle stocks was about the easiest I've ever done to get that look . I just smeared some burnt umber oil over the base of Tamiya XF-52 and wipped it off . I use that trick as well, but I never manage to get it to look as great as you did here...jalous Cheers

Here I thunked I had come up with a new one . As I remember Wouts I let the oils set for a few minutes and then lightly removed some of it with a dry brush, no thinner .HTH .

I think it is time for you to give me your physical address because I am starting to believe your builds are really in 1:1 scale... not 1:35.
Stunning work on the mud splatters!

Andy , I'm physically at my work bench and I am also 1/35th scale myself . Being 2 inches tall makes it easier to get the small details but its a pain in the rear getting the bottles of paint open .
Tony , glad you agree it looks better .
Leon , thanks .
Gary , much appreciated bro .
Eddy, that was some good advice and it made for a better look . Thank you!
Bill , LOL ! Gawd , what a awful thought !

Hi there Carl,
This is really mindblowing, it's almost as if I'm looking at the real deal... I'm gonna tag along (boy I'm gonna get busy: so many great models to follow ...).
Looking forward to see the accessoires, they will definitely bring even more life into this beauty.
greetings, Richard.
