Enjoying my planning stage for this one guys and welcome aboard Dick - The ship will have to go on a base as soon as the outer hull is painted as there is bad things lying ahead if it's rolling round on the bench when the masts are going on. Imagine rigging it if it's not on a solid base

The base with the kit supplied one in front, I think it's an improvement

Aye - the only way to find out if yer mojo is restored, is to get back at the bench fella. Yer goin' to GMMS show next weekend? It's at the fancy new venue North Kent College...there's plenty goin' that'd be chuffed to see yer matey No BACON BUTTIES THOUGH!!!!! Mr Norris sheepishly emailed me earlier to apologise but rules meant they can't offer food onsite!!! Gutted!

OK the mojo boosting blog begins Dry fitted the deck into the hull to check the fit this will have to be removed for painting before final fitting. It's a great fit, thank gawd, don't want hiccups right at the start Assembled some of the small "on deck thingies" as these are the bits that have got to painted in a wood finish, the boats will be white. There will be lots of painting bits before fitting This will not be a fast build by far
