Leon, i can defo tell the difference buddy...your in the right direction. You'll have to let it dry a tad longer than an enamel wash. If i may, This is what i do Leon.... After ive applied my pin wash it looks basically same as yours, but after its dried for some time, ill go back with a Q-tip/cotton bud and gently clean a bit of the excess off and tighten the wash-shadow a bit around the details. That make sence?

It keeps looking better and better. You wanted our feedback earlier and I want to be honest with you... I say replace the twine with thinner string. That is the only thing I see that needs an improvement. Everything else looks great... thought you'd hear my honesty. Use one of those cheap kite string... should work just fine. Just picture the twine in the crew's hand... it would be bigger than the steel cable.
Hope this helps...

Got to agree with Andy. The color is good, but the rope is a little on the thick side.
The dusty tracks are looking very sharp on the outside. On the inside you could remove some of the dust in the areas where the wheels are in contact with them for an even more realistic appearance.
The overall look of the model is already very convincing.
Cheers, Tobi
