Chaps, just trying to find some fresh blades and I'll be with you. Gary, looks like this FAT BOY will be building a model FAT BOY for the enjoyment of another FAT BOY! , welcome! James, hi buddy, if you haven't caught it, brief in box is in the review section... As with many of my builds I won't tackle it strictly in the sequence Tamiya suggests, instead skipping straight to the frame. Unfortunately, the detail up set doesn't hit the market until later this month so the build will be fairly slow until then. Back soon.

Prof, slow is better than none Sir If I may be so bold as to ask, what comes in the upgrade set?

After waiting this long buddy, why rush it? A slow start until the detail kits is out will not be an issue It'll give you time to look for the pit-falls in the construction too

Agreed, slow is ok, the chance of fouling it up due to rushing will not be considered. Jeff, the detail up set is small which kind of makes you wonder why Tamiya didn't chuck it all in the box and charge a bit more. You get metal brake discs, metal exhausts heat shields, VIN plates and some additional emblems. Strictly speaking it will build fine without but seeing as I've come this far!

Chaps. Ron, CeeBee, welcome aboard, thanks for the kind words on the review CeeBee, not 100% but ok for 1st time out. Right, first 12 parts have found a home, all screwed together so far, no glue until I have double checked the destructions for omissions. Apologies for the poor pic, light fading fast here. Note the die cast stand, part of the kit, nice touch.
