Howdy All Folks with all the below freezing temps we had day after day since the first of December plus more snow than we had all of last winter my painting has been on hold. I broke open my Dragon Early Stug IV and went to gluing parts to fill the time that was being wasted waiting on the sun to come back out and warm things up a little. The plastic is not too hard or soft so clean up has been bearable and the fit has been great. The casement is just a dry fit but everything else is there to stay. The zimmerite is not as bold as previous DML kits and I like that myself. Hope you're having a GREAT weekend Tony lee

Nope it ain't GREEN. Had to change colors, they're getting moldy and need to be prayed before they sour on me. I've got a GB that I have to start next Friday, my entry is the DML Late Stug IV and i'll be posting it here too. I hope to have the Early built and ready for paint by then. Time to shut her down for the night, see ya tomorrow guys. Tony lee

Oooh a Zimmed StuG IV! I do so like my Dragon kits with the pre-moulded Zim so I'll be interested to see how things turn out. My next build out of the stash will be Dragon's pre-Zimmed StuG III with the Saukopf mantlet and optional full metal Schurzen. Being a big fan of StuG's I've only ever built StuG III variants so a StuG IV is a must - one of these kits you are bulding will be the kit I'll build too (unless you say it's a total dog which I doubt it will be)! Looking forward to updates and plenty of photos please Tony! Good luck! Ben

Yeah it's been sometime since i've built a StuG, my second kit was a IIIG. The IVs will make a nice set. It's back to work before the NFL swings onto action today Later Tony lee

Sunday morning update: Found the first miss numbered parts: The gun splatter shields listed as K 39/40 were found on G 23/24. I bet the Early w/o zimm, the Mid and Late will be the same so if you can't find those parts check the "G" sprue tree. See you guys later Tony lee

Another week to have fun is here Yesterday: Track support rollers and road wheels ready for paint. Today: Added a bunch of details. There was a small gap in the plate joint below the dog houses so I put a weld bead all the way across and closed it up. Take Care All Tony lee

Quick, clean, loads of details. What's not to love? Looks like you're making the most of your winter isolation Tony.
