Well Bill it's too cold and wet to plow and i'm not allowed to do all that other good stuff so I build kits. It's a bummer but somebody has to do it. Tony lee I'm really loving the look of this StuG Tony - perfectly detailed, impeccably clean and now a canvas for something that I know will be mighty fine Sir! I remember that back in the FSM days and of late on here, of all the Americans on the site (about 90% on FSM) you seemed to be the one that suffered from really nasty, cold snowy weather. I'm not sure exactly where Missouri is other than 'near the centre and just off to the right a bit - I think' of the USA (unless I'm getting my geography mixed up). Is the weather that bad all over the US for the majority of you guys or are you like us Brits Tony and a right old moany sod when it comes to bad weather? Anyway, keep the updates coming - I'm liking where this build is headed! Ben

Ben your Missouri location is correct and our weather can come in from around the compass. Forrest Gump said it best. "Weather here is like a box of chocolates, you never know just what you're goin to get." Thanks guys it's nice to know you're enjoying the show. Tony lee

Oh the torture of drawing that kind of duty Tony! So glad you step up readily though otherwise we'd be left with a shortage of winter-wonders to gaze at. Nice little update as usual.

Good question Cee Bee. I was going to work my way up to the modern SPGs one of these days but but What do you suggest my friend? Thursday Update: Base color is a 50/50 mix of Tamiya Dark Yellow/Desert Yellow and then a well thinned mist coat of just Dark Yellow to bring back some of the green tint. Painting the wheels tomorrow Tony lee

Tony, I love that color! Good job! I think I like it better than dark green. Please don't let my comment offend you! LOL Bet it is a nice change especially in this kind of crappy cold dark weather that you are painting something more colorful this time, huh?
