Bull, I'm assuming that means you like it? Andy, glad you approve Bro. It's starting to come together pretty well now. I just noticed the large sink hole in front of the console. I thought I was ready for primer but I guess not Now, the next question. I realize that there is no such thing as Russian Green but................ Can any of you Guys point me in the right direction to get me a starting point? This is the V variant so according to Wiki, that puts it around 1955. Thanks Men.

Starting to roll a little. Remember the sink hole? Filled, sanded and primed In order to fill the Grand Canyon I had to shave off the shifter boots so had to make some new ones Primer sanded and boots in place Modifying the shifters in a bit, then ready to be primed. ACW

Whooooper-doo brother Jeff this is looking ferkin` fabtabulous and what a great job with the thinning on the sides bud! To a more slim and trim racing snake profile. Somewhat like Dicky's ............Hmmmm Boots`s shifters look coool

Leon, at this point probably won't have primer until tomorrow but I'm looking forward to it too. jackwagon, I thought it was a pretty good match Boots, no, no it's shifter boots, not Boot's shifters I thought of the same thing when I was typing it. Thanks for the comments guys. They mean a lot

Great save!!!! Please tell me you didn't let those Q-tips go waste... use them to clean your ears real good in the morning or something like that?

Wow, that doesn't even vaguely resemble the original kit, mate. You're setting the bar way up high...

Andy, you will be pleased to know that the Q-tips do get recycled. Most often for pigments and such. Luigi, Thanks Brother, I don't know how much longer this build is going to take. I keep thinking of things to do to it. It may end up a JS-3

That is interesting Neems. This was the first time I had tried to do this. It was different than stretching sprue. No matter how hard I tried, I could only get a very short section to stretch. The other thing was, My Tamiya Extra Thin wouldn't stick it. Ended up using CA.

Todd, I'm going as fast as I can Bud. Cut a Guy some slack will ya? Phil, Thank you Son Great Builder? More like fair to somewhat average around here. Dicky, Tea light you say. I'll give that a try, I was using my Zippo. Might have been too hot. Should have a small update later tonight. I discovered my AB has locked up almost solid, so that issue will the most of this evenings work.

A very small and very weak update before Supper and then AB maintenance After looking at some photo's I decided to make a shifter that more closely resembled the one shown and in place Doesn't look too bad but boy, is my glue work sloppy. If I can get the AB unstuck this will be primed tonight. If not......................We'll see ACW

Thanks Neems, getting the Zirconium tint correct on the blade was a challenge My friend Phil, stop buttering me up. What do you want? Gary, Thanks, it was pretty shifty work I'll tell ya. Update on it's way. A little P and P action if you know what I'm saying.

AB issue was not a major one thank goodness. So a little P&P action. I was so excited, I forgot to take an "in primer" pic Primed and some Tammy NATO Green for effect. There you have it. Set to the side to dry. I'll be starting the detail work tomorrow night.
